Match report Another day out for Crane's Warriors with a game against their sporting rivals Egham Roses. The opposing captain won the toss and to our surprise, put Crane into bat. Another great performance from Crane saw us score a third successive score of over 200 runs with all the top 5 batsman once again reaching double figures.

A good solid stand from both openers Ozzy and Romy, with Oz continuing his good form from last week, gave Crane the foundation it needed. Unfortunately Oz pulled up with a hamstring injury whilst running between wickets getting himself run out on 29. In came Hardeep who blasted his way majestically to yet another 50 showing his class. Soon I will be running out of superlatives for this young mans precocious talent.

A top edge into the eye didn't stop Jason from producing a swashbuckling cameo which kept the runs flowing. His innings saw yet another big hit for six over the bowlers head - seems he his copyrighting this shot.

Once again another splendid knock from Mr Consistency and Mr Dependable "Rock Steady Jim", saw us pass 200.

Crane came out to bowl and they bowled superbly, in the horrid conditions, conceding only 13 runs of 9 overs before rain halted play. Sunny bowled quick and accurately producing an early break though which saw Bob taking a good catch from a skied hook shot. A superb spell of swing bowling from both Sunny and Ozzy.

Yet again Crane have been unlucky with bad weather thwarting them of a very much deserved victory.
