Match report Another fine day for cricket and there was something for both the bowlers and batsmen on what was a good table. After winning the toss, the Skip decided that we should bat first. After a good opening stand between Ammo & Romy came in Hardeep. A swash buckling innings of 59 with the ball being sprayed all over the park was made in no time and after 20 overs we were 101 for the loss of 2 wickets. The highlight of Hardeeps innings were 6 boundaries in 2 overs. A huge score loomed. But then the infamous Crane batting collapse occurred with some poor shot selection which resulted in us capitulating to 147 all out of 32 overs.

We came out to bowl, Vinod took a stunning catch off Sunny's first ball of Yeadings innings and another sharp catch by Romy off Jason reduced Yeading to 19 for 2. A good partnership then resulted and steadily Yeading amassed their total. The Crane bowling was tight and an inspired Vinod came on and bowled beautifully taking 3 wickets putting the pressure on the Yeading batsman. We thank his trainer a Mr JD for this.

Yeading made the winning runs with a few overs to spare and Crane were left to rue the fact of not making enough runs on a decent pitch.
