Match report Crane’s last home game at Wycombe House.
Crane welcomed Edgware and Belmont to Middlesex on a sunny afternoon.

The skipper lost the toss and opposition decided to bat first on a good wicket.The match was reduced to 35 overs..

Mitul and Sanjit opened the bowling, with pace and accuracy, but no success. They were plenty of fishing from the batsmen, but no made run rush.

On came the skipper and Gurjit and what a spell of bowling it was. Both bowlers picked up 2 wickets each.
Gurjit was a bit tired, from his all week’s exclusions, but picked up a great caught and bowled, when he got driven for a straight six over his head…..

Amo added another wicket to tally for the season and Ranjit bowled well, considering he just flew back from holiday the day before.

The opposition ended up with 156 for 6 from 35 overs.

Too many runs conceded by some sloppy fielding and lots of extras….hope the batting is better…..

The usual two opened the batting Chaz and Bob.
Chaz continued for last week, blasting the ball to all parts of the park for his quick fire 13. Bob continued to score steadily…
In came Gurjit, what a great innings. He didn’t seem tired at all….Gurjit and Bob started to blast the ball all over the place and Gurjit ending up with 84 not out.

Bob got his first fifty for Crane…well done, great display of power and patience. Well deserved.

The victory was completed in the 22nd over….Crane won by 8 wickets..

Well done to everyone, another victory for Crane..

Champagne Moment: Bob’s maiden 50 for the club
