Match report Crane travelled down to Godalming CC on a lovely sunny afternoon.

Crane won the toss and decided to bowl first on a wet wicket.
Mitul and Nik opened the bowling. What a spell of bowling it was…
Mitul bowled his usual way, length and line and Nik bowled with speed and movement and picked up four wickets in 5 overs…

This was a time game, but this didn’t matter to the batsmen, Godalming were heading for a low score.

On came Karran and Kam, both bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals. Kam picked up 3 wickets and Karran 2. Well done guys.

On came Paul for his first stint of bowling for Crane this season, the batsmen could not handle the width and spin, Paul bowled 5 overs for 14 runs only.

There were 8 catches in Godalming innings, well done boys….

Great effort in the field with all the catches, fielding and bowling….a all round performance by everyone…

Godalming were bowled out for 71 runs.

Tea was taken early….and Crane started their chase…

Godalming bowlers were started well, with length and line, but this did not matter to Chaz, who went after everything and was bowled by a beauty…off spin slow delivery. Bob departed soon after without scoring…

In came Sunny, promoted up the order and Romy, what a display of shots, power, timings and determination.

Sunny and Romy completed the victory in the 18th over, scoring 25 and 34 respectively.

Overall, well done to everyone who participated on the game, great display of catching, bowling, fielding and batting…
