Match report Crane travelled this to a little town called Ivor, junction 4 of the M4.

What a game!!! Nine 6’s, Eighteen 4’s and Six catches.

Crane elected to bat, on a damp wicket, considering all the overnight rain.
Crane lost Bob early, but Romy and Sunny continued to score heavily. Romy scored his first fifty for the season (73) and sunny got 27.

Crane were 75 runs off 20 overs, will Crane over 200 runs???

In came Anoop, Ayush, Chaz and Hardeep and runs galore.

Ayush got 46, only 4 runs short of his fifty. Anoop hit huge sixes out off the ground. Chaz and Hardeep continued to score runs very freely.

Crane eventually ended up with 237 runs for 9.
Great battling performance by Crane, to get past 200 runs.

Chalfont started their innings positively, scoring very freely and some wayward bowling.
Then Mitul struck in the 5th over, a bad delivery, but the skipper took a great catch in first slip.
Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals and Chalfont continued to fall behind the required run rate.

Great bowling by Mitul, Chaz and Hardeep completed the victory. Chalfont falling short by 135 runs.

Crane fielding and catching was great, apart from Mitul missing a catch at 1st slip, but the ball was already past him. Sorry Skip…..

Pick of the batsmen: Romy 73 and Ayush 46.
