What a lovely day, beautiful sunshine, great setting, Crane’s first home game at Wycombe House..

Sunny loses the toss and the opposition decide to bat on a flat wicket. Runs Galore!!!

Sunny and Mitul opened the bowling, with some length and line. Mitul was giving his slips some catching practice with the out swingers…
Crane got a lovely run out from Little Rick..
But then things went downhill from then, a few drop catches, run outs, stumping and doggy fielding. Prince’s batsmen pilled on the runs…in the heat.

Finally, the stars departed, with Mitul picking up 3 wickets, Nick and Amo tried there boxes of tricks and Sanjit and Kush picked up a wicket a piece.

Great effort by Sanjit and Kush…well done youngsters…u certainly showed some of other team members how to ball.

Prince’s Head ended with 214 for 7.

Crane turn to get the runs….

We started well, very tight bowling by the opposition, the pitch breaking up over by over
But falling behind the run rate…
Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals….
But the stars were Sanjit and Nik.
A quick fire 32 from Nik and a 50 from Sanjit…played with class and timing…well done young man. Keep up the good work..

Crane rang out of overs and lost by 66 runs..

Overall, great day, brilliant surroundings, great teas, some sloppy fielding and batting by Crane…well done Prince’s Head.
